Your Homture AI creations don't have to stay on the frame. You can download any AI-generated video directly to your phone's camera roll and share it anywhere — social media, messaging apps, or just keep it as a personal keepsake.

How to Download an AI Video

You can download from two places in the app:

From the Result Page (right after creation)

  1. After your AI creation finishes, stay on the result page
  2. Tap the download button
  3. The video saves to your phone's camera roll

From the Creation Library (any past creation)

  1. Go to Account > My Creation
  2. Tap the creation you want to download
  3. Tap the download option on the detail page
Download Confirmation After a successful download you'll see: "Downloaded successfully. Please check your Photos." Open your Photos app to find the video.

Rotate Before Downloading

If the video orientation isn't quite right, use the Rotate option on the result page before downloading. This lets you adjust the video to landscape or portrait before saving it to your camera roll.

Sharing Your AI Video

Once the video is in your camera roll, you can share it just like any other video on your phone:

  • Social media — Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X
  • Messaging apps — WhatsApp, iMessage, WeChat
  • Email — send it to family members who don't use the app
  • Cloud storage — back it up to Google Photos or iCloud
Great for Sharing Memories AI-animated videos of family photos make wonderful things to share. A grandparent's portrait coming to life, a child's first birthday animated — these are moments worth sharing beyond just the frame.

The Save Button

For some operations in the app, you may see a "Save (Cost {credit})" button. This applies to specific save actions that use credits. The standard download to camera roll described above does not cost credits.

Tips for the Best Downloads

  • Download right after creation while you're still on the result page — it's the fastest path
  • Use the Rotate option if you need to adjust orientation before saving
  • Your downloaded videos are stored permanently in your camera roll — they won't disappear if you delete the creation from the app
  • Download before deleting a creation from My Creation if you want to keep a copy
Download Before You Delete If you're planning to remove a creation from your library, download it first. Once deleted from My Creation, the animation is gone from the app — but your downloaded copy in Photos stays safe.
